Who Said Solidarity Was Dead in America

Well, so say most people.

And here go the pensions and health care benefits for public workers in Wisconsin.  State budget worries, and Paul Krugman's so-called Bond Vigilantes perhaps, serve as another excuse to cut away at the remaining fragments of unions in this country.

Look.  Lower union wages and benefits drags down the entire labor market.  Including yours.  And isn't it a nicer thing to say that "we should all get good benefits, not just government workers" rather than "why should he get the goodies when I don't??"

How about: we cut the salaries of state lawmakers first.

Solidarity from here in Delaware, friends.
